Feedgas flows to Sabine Pass, the largest LNG export plant in the US, dropped by 33% through the last week, indicating that around two trains might be under outage, most probably undergoing an earlier announced planned maintenance.
Sabine Pass is the oldest and largest LNG export facility in the lower 48, accounting for around 30% of exports.
As a consequence of the outage, total US LNG feedgas flows dropped by around 10%.
The maintenance is expected to last around 22 days, which could reduce LNG exports by around 2.5 bcm. TTF is already up by almost 3% today (Tuesday June 3)…
What is your view? What is your outlook for US LNG this summer? How could the hurricane season impact supplies?
