88.3% of U.S. LNG exports went to non-Free Trade Agreement countries

According to latest released figures, 88.3% of total U.S. LNG exports (December) went to non-Free Trade Agreement countries (nFTA), while the remaining 11.7% went to Free Trade Agreement countries (FTA). The United States exported 422.9 Bcf of LNG to 32 countries in December 2023. Europe accounted for 69.5%), of those exports followed by Asia at 26.1% (110.5 bcf). The leading European importers of U.S. LNG were the United Kingdom (60.2 Bcf, 14.2%), Netherlands (48.7 Bcf, 11.5%),Turkiye (42.3 Bcf, 10.0%), and France (40.7 Bcf, 9.6%).
