If the denial of non-FTA approvals becomes permanent, then future LNG supply could be materially affected. This would be especially true if the pause/denial also applied to extensions of the non-FTA deadline. This could, in total, impact some 50 mtpa of planned US and Mexican projects, although more likely only around one third of this, assuming extensions to non-FTA deadlines, for projects which have taken FID, are not affected.
