Carbon capture and storage & the Asia-Pacific region

Carbon capture and storage (CCS) can be an effective solution to help manage the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in hard- to-abate sectors. The emission intensity of Asian economies is currently 41 percent higher than the rest of the world. As a result, CCS projects are being proposed in many parts of the world.
