In FY 2022 Australia was the world’s largest LNG exporter, shipping 81.5 MT, mostly to Japan, China, South Korea and Chinese Taipei. The strong performance in terms of volume allowed the Australian LNG industry to leverage the opportunity of the current high price environment for both oil-linked contract sales and spot market sales.
