LNG inflows into the European Union will increase by around 9% compared to 2022 to 140 bcm in 2023–although this is assuming a moderate recovery of 3% in Asian LNG imports. Higher LNG uptake will be facilitated by newly commissioned FSRU-based regasification plants in the Netherlands, Finland and Germany.
