Out of 5427 bcm of global natural gas demand in 2040, 1616 bcm will be imported, of which 960 bcm will come from GECF Members. The LNG segment will be more dynamic, growing at 2.2% p.a. to reach 769 bcm, while pipeline trade will expand at a slower rate of 1.1% per annum to 847 bcm. Source: GECF
