Global LNG imports achieve record levels in April

In April 2024, global LNG imports stood at 34.52 Mt, representing an increase of 1.7% (0.58 Mt) y-o-y. This is a record high for LNG imports for the month of April. The Asia Pacific and LAC regions led the rise in global LNG imports and offset a sharp decline in European LNG imports.
