Global LNG imports relatively flat in February

In February 2024, global LNG imports were relatively flat compared to the previous year, standing at 33.74 Mt. However, Asia Pacific, LAC and MENA regions recorded increases in LNG imports, offsetting weaker imports in Europe and North America. Between January and February 2024, global LNG imports grew by 3.7% (2.61 Mt) y-o-y to reach 72.79 Mt, driven mainly by Asia Pacific. Accompanying video for this report may be viewed HERE Source: GECF
