Over 80 percent of the LNG exported by the United States comes from four Gulf Coast facilities located in Texas and Louisiana. The two Texas facilities represent nearly 37 percent of current U.S. LNG export capacity, and Texas will be home to more than 25 percent of the additional capacity that is currently being built or has been proposed.
