China’s electrotech challenges the global LNG wave

China’s LNG imports reached 45.51 million tons during the first eight months of 2023, up 12% year-on-year yet down 12% compared to the same period in 2021. Japan’s LNG imports on the other hand were down by 13% year-on-year at 43.38 million tons.
