U.S. natural gas production increased year or year with Texas seeing largest increase

U.S. dry natural gas production increased year over year in 2022 for the second consecutive year. Texas had the largest volumetric increase in annual dry natural gas production, rising from 23.5 Bcf/d in 2021 to 25.3 Bcf/d in 2022, an increase of 7.8%. This is according according to the 2022 Natural Gas Annual. Dry natural gas production was the highest for any year on record, dating back to 1930.
