In LNG, the initial data for feedgas demand has indicated an -0.4 Bcf/d drop today driven by reduced flows to the Corpus Christi LNG terminal, though the reason for that is so far unclear as the facility has no maintenance on its schedule.
As Tropical Storm Debby continues moving up the East Coast, we may see a drop at Elba LNG and possibly Cove Point, though today the terminals appear normal with feedgas flows initially measured at just above 0.3 Bcf/d and 0.7 Bcf/d respectively.
Damages sustained from Debby appear to be primarily from floods, with power outages having likely peaked yesterday, as the storm has been downgraded from hurricane status since passing over Florida. Debby is on track to reach the New England area by Saturday.
