LNG SPAs signed by QatarEnergy LNG since its creation in 2023

In September 2023, Qatargas changed its name to QatarEnergy LNG. Since then, the pace of new contracts has been tremendous.

The chart, generated with Cedigaz data, displays SPAs stacked by geographic zones / players.

The predominance of Indian subcontinent is striking, highlighting the very favorable netback value. A very recent 5-year deal with GAIL (also displayed) confirms this trend.

To note: ConocoPhillips, TotalEnergies and Shell have each signed 2 SPAs at different moments in time.
