China’s CNPC secured 17 bcm/a in Turkmenistan pipeline gas for the next 3 years in exchange for helping the country boost output from the Galkynysh field.
Mooo-re renewable gas? Chevron says yes with its JV partner Brightmark, which plans to build 10 more facilities to convert cow manure into biomethane.
With 28 facilities already under development and first production set for the end of the year, the JV’s facilities’ biomethane will fuel long-haul trucks.
The results of an auction in which German transport operator Gascade offered interruptible capacity for Mallnow in Sept yielded no additional capacity bookings.
The Mallnow point predominantly handles Russian gas for flow to west Germany, implying Gazprom did not book additional available capacity for September.
Still, Gazprom’s flows via have Mallnow recovered to levels last seen in July before Gazprom’s accident at a condensate treatment plant.
