Baker Hughes Index Rig count: gas rig count +1 as the Permian curiously added one gas rig, making the total gas rigs operating in the Permian a whopping… 1 rig.
It’s alive!!! Egypt’s Damietta LNG loaded its first cargo since 2012.
Meanwhile, Israel and Egypt have agreed to build a pipeline connecting the Leviathan natural gas field to Egypt’s LNG plants and are working on a formal deal.
Qatar Petroleum has agreed to sell 1.25 mtpa of LNG to Vitol, with volumes destined to Bangladesh.
Macquarie, the second largest gas marketer in N. America, lifted its profit guidance by A$400 million as it expects a windfall from higher natural gas prices in Texas.
