Over the past decade the production of natural gas in Israel has increased five-fold and the scale of gas reserves has increased by 40%. Israel is ranked 3rd place among the OECD countries in terms of natural gas reserves per capita, and benefits from a relative advantage of using natural gas for domestic use and exports.
