LNG imports to Europe rise to over 111 Million tonnes (~154 bcm natural gas) in 2022, up from 64Mt (~88 bcm) in 2021 according to data from ICIS, writes Andreas Schroeder.
The main contributor is the USA with 44%. Qatar, Russia and others keep growing too.
December saw first volumes from Mozambique.
Europe is set for another strong LNG year 2023.
