During the Q3 report on November 17, FLEX LNG cited progress in talks between Eni, Naturgy and their Egyptian partners EGPC and EGAS regarding the closure of the Damietta LNG plant which has been idle since 2012.
They therefore decided to put this plant as a possible restart for 2021.
Today the parties have reached an agreement settled all the disputes with aim of restarting the plant by Q1 next year. This would mean up to 5mt more export capacity available.
