March 16: U.S. LNG Exports Hit New Record. About 11.63 billion cubic feet of natural gas flowed to American export terminals on Tuesday, the most ever.
A slide in shipping rates, as well as an attractive price arbitrage, is encouraging US exporters to send cargoes to Europe and Asia.
US LNG exports are on pace for a monthly record
The pace of US exports in March is slightly above the 2.9 cargo-per-day record set in December, as 48 tankers have left export terminals through March 16.
