This paper takes the U.S. and Europe LNG markets as an example to study the impact of LNG prices on LNG freight rates. With the changes in the energy structure of various countries around the world, the demand for natural gas in the world has increased, and the LNG sea transportation market, which is more convenient than pipeline transportation, is gradually expanding. In addition, after the Russia-Ukraine conflict in 2022, the total amount of LNG imported from the United States to Europe soared.
